The Honey Spinner ORIGINAL is a top-loaded two frame (2 frame) tangential (as opposed to radial) centrifugal force honey extractor with bottom reservoir. Both the Honey Spinner ORIGINAL and MINI honey extractors are compact, lightweight (less than 10 lbs) and cost-conscious. If you only have a few beehives, these extractors are just right. Since these honey extractors are predominantly plastic and wood and conveniently compact and stowable, you save on shipping costs and storage requirements (stainless steel extractors are heavy, large and sometimes require dedicated space).

To use the Honey Spinner, simply unpack the box, quickly assemble the kit, and start spinning the honey out of your honeycomb frames. All you need are your honey frames (super sizes 5 3/8" or 6 1/4" for the ORIGINAL and the MINI can use all frame sizes-- even hive body sizes) and a variable speed drill to turn the axle. The Honey Spinner is fast and complete unlike gravity extraction methods that are slow and can leave considerable useable honey in the comb. A mesh honey filter strainer sieve is included free with each item order. A drill adapter is also provided. And cleanup is easy with soap and water under a showerhead. Then, stow the extractor in its box for next season.

    You will receive (1) Multi-use Spigot, (1) Gasket, and (1) Threaded Bushing when you purchase this listing. Pictured bucket is not included. Details: Food safe materials. 3/4" threaded spigot can be used in popular water container closures. To use the spigot, gasket and threaded bushing as a honey gate in a thin-wall container, drill and deburr a 1" hole; then, install and tighten the assembly with the gasket on the outside of the wall next to the spigot flange. This assembly works on the Honey Spinner ORIGINAL honey extractor as seen in the pictures. Gasket may be black or white. Threaded bushing appearance may vary from that pictured but will function the same.
